August 4th, 1789: the abolition of feudal rights and privileges by the members of the French National Constituent Assembly

 

August 4th, 2011: and if we make an inventory of the current privileges and “feudal” rights, we stop short from being entirely equal, truly brotherly and entirely free. Come on, that’s not so bad for 222 years!

We can do better, much better!
